MUST HAVE LOT PORTER EXPERIENCE
SUMMARY:
This role is not just for a lot porter, but for an Inventory Control Lead, which serves a vital function within the auto industry. In this role, you will work closely with the inventory team to inspect new and used vehicles, transport inventory throughout the complex, and support other departments as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING (other duties may apply):
- Responsible for receiving and inspecting vehicles for all Penske dealerships by transport Carriers.
- Follow up with Inventory team, PAG and all dealerships to ensure vehicle data is entered correctly and all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Communicate with dealerships to ensure they are taking their cars to their dealerships to keep our staging area clear for new arrivals as per new process.
- Follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Communicate and inform managers of any work-related issues.
- Work closely with inventory team to ensure all lots are organized.
- Communicate with transporter dispatchers to ensure any damage found during the inspection process is entered correctly on the BOL.
- Delivering vehicles off property as requested.
- Help with any company vehicle events.
- Ensure working areas and inventory office are cleaned.
- As needed deliver vehicles to the dealerships or other departments.
- Communicate to dealerships any vehicle issues.
- Make sure quality is up to company standards.
- Key Control is high priority and enforced to all PDI employees.
- Log and report damages found during vehicle inspection process.
As needed the inventory control porter Lead may also:
- Assist the car wash and detail operations.
- Clean interior and exterior of vehicles
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to work outdoors in high temperatures.
- Capacity to spend significant time walking and entering/exiting vehicles.

SCHEDULE A:
Mon, Wed - Fri
8am - 5pm with 1 hr lunch
Saturday
7am – 3:30pm with 30 minutes lunch.
Sunday and Tuesday OFF
SCHEDULE B:
Mon - Wed
8am - 5pm with 1 hr lunch
Saturday
7am – 3:30pm with 30 minutes lunch.
Sunday and Thursday OFF
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE previous Lot Porter Attendant experience.
- MUST HAVE clean driving record.
- Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation:
- $20.00 Per Hour W-2 Employee
- We pay every TWO weeks
