Job Description
- CONTRACT PENDING AWARD**
testing of the OCP equipment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Designs and plans fiber and copper networks for optimal performance and scalability
- Develops engineering work packages, construction drawings, and GIS-based route maps
- Oversees installation, testing, and quality assurance of both outdoor and indoor infrastructure
- Troubleshoots and maintains network performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Assists in creating fiber network designs, including routes, splice points, and equipment placement,
- Works with contractors, utility companies, and internal departments to ensure proper routing and
- Prepares detailed work plans, construction drawings, and splicing designs for fiber networks
- Interprets utility records, civil plans, and construction prints to resolve site issues
- Supports vendor coordination, schedule tracking, and budget oversight for OSP projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- HS degree or equivalent
- BICSI Technician (TECH)
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must have great problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources
- OSP fiber design or engineering experience
- The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment as well
- Must have manual dexterity to perform precise movements
- Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time
- Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check
