Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities
- Applies engineering principles, codes, and practices to support the RDT&E of weapons systems
- Performs engineering tasks involving various disciplines including, control systems, electronics,
- Applies aerospace engineering principles and concepts in the performance of test and evaluation of
- Coordinates with Data Acquisition Engineers to define instrumentation and measurement
- Assists with the planning for and management of classified requirements and data collected above
- Performs project work through knowledge of engineering practices and policies, and to devise new
- Operates with general instructions in an independent mode and receives guidance on special
- Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and
- Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects
- Reviews specific assignment objectives, approaches, and possible solutions for accuracy and
- Independently performs a project assignment that involves complex features and can be guided by
- Analyzes and/or evaluates the results of an analysis using techniques prescribed by senior engineers
- Accomplishes tasks of which require investigation of many variables
- Demonstrates proficiency in software development, hardware integration, and system design

- Works with team members and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and
- Creates technical reports and documentation to communicate project progress and outcomes
- Engages in ongoing education and training to stay updated with industry trends and technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications
- BA/BS degree (8 additional years of experience in lieu of the degree is acceptable)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- CompTIA: Security CE
- Solid foundation in the principles and practices of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering,
- Strong understanding of T&E methodologies and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to use test equipment and data analysis tools
- Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills, essential for success in a T&E team environment
- Proven ability to think critically and solve complex problems within the T&E process
- The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment
- Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time
- Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted

- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
