Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in industrial and commercial environments.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and resolve issues efficiently.
- Execute high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures and local codes.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation processes in industrial settings.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 standards and NEC regulations.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment skillfully during installation or renovation projects.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems on construction sites or during facility upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation or repair activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments, with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams confidently.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes is essential.
- Experience working with high-voltage wiring systems safely in accordance with electrical safety procedures.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters; able to identify faults quickly.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, low voltage wiring, and automation controls is preferred.
- Construction site experience including renovation projects or new installations is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, frame carpentry skills, and handyman experience beneficial for versatile project support.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols combined with excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
