Help Shape the Future of Modern Mobility

Role Overview

This role supports Travelpro’s transformation from a trusted legacy brand into a design-led, consumer-focused modern mobility company. The Associate Product Manager partners with the Product Manager to drive product development, lifecycle management, and go-to-market activities across Travelpro’s portfolio. Success in the first 6–12 months includes building strong knowledge of the portfolio and development process, independently managing smaller projects with guidance, maintaining accurate product information and timelines, and coordinating cross-functional launch deliverables. This role works closely with Design, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Operations, and external partners to keep product initiatives aligned, on schedule, and moving forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Product Manager to drive product initiatives from concept through launch, optimization, and closeout
  • Own small-scale product projects from concept through completion, with guidance and direction from the Product Manager
  • Develop and maintain product timelines, trackers, specifications, samples, and key project documentation
  • Support SKU setup, assortment planning, pricing inputs, and product lifecycle management
  • Coordinate launch deliverables and help drive go-to-market execution
  • Analyze consumer insights, market trends, competitive activity, and product opportunities
  • Track product performance and translate findings into recurring reports and recommendations
  • Drive cross-functional follow-ups with Design, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Operations, and supplier partners
  • Develop product announcements, hang tags, training presentations, features and benefits matrices, and marketing collateral with cross-functional partners
  • Support product naming, trademark coordination, and documentation in partnership with the Product Manager and Legal
  • Prepare product content, sales tools, samples, and launch communications
  • Coordinate sample requests, product reviews, trade show preparation, and product presentation needs
  • Identify process improvements and take on broader product ownership as experience grows

What It Takes

  • 2–4 years of experience in product management, product development, merchandising, product marketing, or a related role
  • Experience supporting consumer products, retail, DTC, travel goods, or related industries
  • Demonstrated ability to manage smaller projects, maintain detailed product information, and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with consistent follow-through across multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently while seeking guidance and alignment from the Product Manager as needed

Capabilities

  • Strong product and project management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate information and drive deliverables
  • Ability to independently manage smaller workstreams and follow through across multiple priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to present updates and recommendations
  • Comfort analyzing data, reports, spreadsheets, and product information to support decisions
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and sound judgment in a dynamic business environment
  • Ability to balance consumer-focused product thinking with disciplined operational execution

Why this role matters

The Associate Product Manager plays an important role in turning product strategy into execution across Travelpro’s development and launch process. This role keeps product information, timelines, and deliverables on track while taking ownership of smaller projects and supporting broader portfolio initiatives. By partnering with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams, the Associate Product Manager contributes to faster decision-making, stronger product storytelling, and successful launches while building toward increased product ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Development, Merchandising, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Working knowledge of product development, product management, merchandising, and launch processes
  • Ability to develop clear presentations, trackers, business updates, training materials, and product content
  • Experience with consumer product development, competitive research, retail, or product performance analysis is preferred
  • Interest in consumer goods, particularly travel-related products, is a plus

Working Environment

  • Hybrid office environment with hands-on interaction with physical products
  • Occasional travel for vendor development, market research, trade shows, and inspiration
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
