Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. DSPs provide high quality support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism enrolled in the Pennsylvania ODP program. This position plays a vital role in helping individuals live fulfilling, independent, and community- integrated lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in accordance with PA ODP guidelines and individual service plans.
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, personal care, medication reminders, and community integration.
- Transport individuals safely to appointments, programs, and community activities via personal vehicle.
- Promote independence, self- advocacy, and quality of life for individuals supported.
- Maintain accurate, and detailed documentation and progress notes as required by the PA ODP standards.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing program development.
Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at all times.
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (required)
- Reliable Personal Vehicle with current registration and insurance(required)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or related fields (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must pass all required background checks in accordance with PA ODP regulations.

Work Location
- Community-based settings throughout Montgomery, Berks, and Philadelphia counties in PA
- Travel required to provide services in clients' homes and within the community
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
