About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Vail, Colorado.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance as required
- Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
- Position patients correctly for scanning
- Capture diagnostic images using computerized tomography equipment
- Administer radiocontrast agents as needed
- Evaluate CT scans for quality
- Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Utilize the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
- State-specific licensing when required
- BLS certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily
Additional Information:
This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and nights. Pay package details will be confirmed subject to confirmation.
