Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including hotels, hospitals, and industrial facilities. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A background in hospitality or custodial services is preferred.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Manage floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow established housekeeping procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Assist in housekeeping management tasks as needed, including training new staff members.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality standards is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards guests and coworkers.

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
