Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using property management systems (PMS).
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations through hospitality reservation systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide comprehensive guest services including answering inquiries, offering local recommendations, and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain clear communication via phone etiquette, assisting guests with their needs and coordinating with other hotel departments as necessary.
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Conduct night audits when required, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns proactively, solving problems efficiently, and ensuring a seamless stay experience.
- Support front desk operations during busy periods or night shifts to uphold high standards of hospitality service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred; familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as HOTELKEY is highly desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles and hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Strong phone communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries professionally.
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Previous resort experience or working in a hotel environment is advantageous; experience with night audit procedures is preferred.
- Multitasking skills with attention to detail in busy environments; familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation platforms is essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
