Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new guests
- Safely handle and transport food from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling techniques
- Assist servers by delivering food orders accurately and promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash
- Support the kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices during food running and service
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely service and guest needs
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and with proper lifting practices
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and basic food handling procedures
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts
