Hiring: Mechanical Engineer Early R&D (W2-Contract role)
Location: Santa Clara, CA (On-site)
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: DOE
We re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join an innovative R&D team working on next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies.
What you ll do:
Design & develop electro-mechanical, thermal, and fluidic systems
Build and test cutting-edge sequencing instrumentation
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation
What we re looking for:
Strong experience in mechanical system design & prototyping
Expertise in thermal management & CAD tools (SolidWorks)
Background in life science instrumentation (preferred, not mandatory)
Note: This is a fully on-site role. Relocation support is not available.

The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $60 - $70 per hour on W2.
