We are hiring for a highly skilled Mobile Fleet Service Manager in Salt Lake City UT.
YOU MUST HAVE 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE DIRECTLY AS A MOBILE FLEET SERVICE MANAGER
OUR MOBILE TECHNICIANS WORK ON LIGHT TO HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS AND VANS - OUR FLEET CONSIST OF DIESEL ENGINES
Duties:- Oversee and manage a fleet of vehicles ranging from light duty to heavy duty trucks and vans, ensuring they are properly maintained and in good working condition
- Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repairs for all vehicles in the fleet, including oil changes, brake repairs, and diesel engine repairs
- Monitor vehicle performance and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fleet Service Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including shocks struts, transmission, alignment, air brakes, and auto body repair
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer software Full Bay for record keeping and fleet management
Job description
Transwest Mobile is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on the role of Team Service Manager. Applicant will be responsible for leading the daily tasks as Manager of a team of technicians.
Employee will be required to perform these tasks as the core of their job responsibilities along with other associated support tasks to the operational functions of the business. Employee will be accountable for their team’s revenue and performance, and report to supervisor on a regular basis.
