What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician II position at Transtex?
Primary Role The Maintenance Technician II independently performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production and utility equipment. This role provides intermediate-level technical expertise and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Additional Duties • Support onboarding and training of Maintenance Technician I personnel. • Assist with monitoring and maintaining spare parts inventory. • Contribute to departmental safety and process improvement initiatives.
Core Responsibilities • Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system repairs. • Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes. • Perform both scheduled and emergency maintenance activities with minimal supervision. • Provide coaching and informal mentorship to entry-level technicians.
Project Work Contribute to process improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and new installations.
Pay: From $33.00 per hour
