Position Summary
The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, following a regular daily route. This position ensures student safety, maintains order on the bus, and operates the vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Safely operate a school bus along a designated route, following assigned schedules.

Pick up and drop off students at designated locations in a timely and courteous manner.

Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure safe operation.

Maintain order and enforce bus safety rules among student passengers.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and transportation supervisors.

Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly.

Keep the bus clean and free of hazards.

Participate in required safety meetings and training sessions.
