Bus Driver - 6 hrs. (Eligibility List)

DETAILS ABOUT THIS POSITION: 

• Hourly range: Step 1 23.95 - Step 8 $33.69
   (Initial salary placement for this position is from Step 1 to Step 3 depending on the amount of reasonably related experience) 
• Length of Work Year: M-F / 195 days per school year
• Location: Transportation
• Hours: 6 hours (Split Shift)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

• Two (2) years of successful driving experience with a demonstrated record of safe driving
• Experience driving a school bus or equivalent passenger transportation vehicle is desirable.
• Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License
• Possession of a California Special Drivers Certificate
• Possession of a Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate or equivalent, or pass a test administered by the CHP
• All applicable state and federal licensing requirements

• California Special Drivers Certificate
• CPR & First Aid Certificate - CPR and First Aid courses must be in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Online certifications will not be accepted. Please Note: A BLS certificate alone does not meet the CPR/First Aid requirement. In addition to BLS you must attach a First Aid Certificate.
