Position Summary
The Activity Driver is responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of students, staff, and chaperones to extracurricular events, athletic competitions, and school-sponsored activities. This position often involves driving during evenings, weekends, and non-regular school hours. The driver ensures safety, professionalism, and a positive representation of the district while traveling.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Safely operate a school bus, van, or other district-approved vehicle for activity and athletic trips.

Transport students, staff, and equipment to and from scheduled events in accordance with trip itineraries.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

Maintain order and enforce safety rules for all passengers during trips.

Communicate effectively with coaches, sponsors, and supervisors regarding schedules and trip logistics.

Ensure the vehicle remains clean, fueled, and ready for use.

Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical concerns promptly.

Uphold district standards of conduct and serve as a positive representative of the school community.
