Key Responsibilities:
- Process vehicle titles, bills of sale, and other related documents for auction transactions.
- Verify title and registration information for accuracy and completeness.
- Work with buyers and sellers to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Communicate with DMV and other regulatory agencies regarding title transfers, lien releases, and other vehicle-related matters.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and documentation.
- Coordinate with other departments (sales, finance, etc.) to ensure seamless processing of titles.
- Assist with the preparation of documents for upcoming auctions.
- Handle any issues or discrepancies related to titles or registration documents.
- Provide excellent customer service to buyers and sellers with questions regarding title paperwork.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
- Previous experience as a Title Clerk, or in a similar administrative role, preferably in the automotive or auction industry.
- Familiarity with vehicle titles, registration, and related paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of state DMV requirements and title regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general office equipment.
