✅ Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 year of experience (required) in mobile trailer maintenance (DOT annual inspections & air brakes required)
- Reefer experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently out of a service van with limited resources. All work is outdoors.
- Valid driver’s license
- Obtain a toolbox and the required tools
- Must be able to travel for the first 2 weeks for training
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
🛠️ What You’ll Do
As a Trailer Technician, your role will involve a variety of important tasks, including:
- Preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers and reefer units
- Repair trailers based on PM findings & driver write-ups, including roll-up door repair, lighting, brake systems, etc.
- Diagnosing electrical systems & ABS brake system repairs
- Change tires as needed on trucks and trailers per customer requirements
- Run service calls as needed within the Indy Metro area
- Maintain clean & organized service truck, schedule routine maintenance, & make repairs as necessary
- Create your own work orders, charge out inventory parts & order parts when needed
- Performing additional duties and responsibilities as needed
