Job Description:
We are growing and are seeking an additional Fleet Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of fleet vehicles—primarily Chevy 3500 and Ford E-350 vans. $28-$32 per hour. Pay commensurate with experience!
Day Shift (Evenings/Weekend hours available, if desired).
Main Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections of vehicle systems, including transmissions, brakes, and hydraulics, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, while providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in fleet or automotive maintenance.
- NYS Inspectors license is a plus!
- Have DOT experience.
- Have own tools.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
