Position Summary
The Stockroom Operations Supervisor provides direct leadership to a team of warehouse associates, with responsibility for setting daily priorities, monitoring performance, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence at TMI headquarters. Key responsibilities include overseeing the timely and accurate execution of Kanban and material replenishment activities in support of assembly and production operations.
The Stockroom Operations Supervisor works cross-functionally with Quality, Procurement, Production, and Warehouse teams to streamline workflows, resolve operational issues, and enhance overall efficiency. This position ensures full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements across all stockroom activities. Strong leadership capabilities, collaboration, and attention to detail are critical to maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting service-level expectations, and delivering consistent, high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Job Responsibilities And Duties Include
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Standing Bending Walking Sitting aprox >=50% GraspingReaching Crouching Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Use of light industrial equipment to push and pull palletized materials

TransMedics is committed to equitable and transparent compensation. The expected base salary range for this role is $76,950.00 – $96,050.00, which represents the company’s current good-faith estimate of compensation for this position. Actual salary will depend on factors such as, but not limited to, candidate experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific work location. This role may also be eligible for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and wellness resources). Essential Job Responsibilities And Duties Include
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Leads a team of up to 15 employees overseeing all stockroom activities including kanban replenishment requests and cycle counting.
- Ensures all aspects of operations quality, efficiency, and service performance meet or exceed established standards and meet or exceed internal/external customer expectations.
- Prioritizes and assigns daily tasks to team members, ensuring productivity and adherence to operational process and goals.
- Develops or supports the development of departmental SOP,WI ,KPIs and training materials.
- Leads team meetings, provides training, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develops and utilizes reporting tools and data analytics to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with procurement, production, systems, and customer service teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
- Ensure compliance with company QMS, policies, SOPs, in an ISO 13485 regulated environment.
- As an operations subject matter expert, participates in the design and implementation of SOPs, WIs, process as well as operating systems design and functionality.
- Supports, contributes to, and engages in the Organization’s Lean, Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Oversees staffing activities to include hiring, training, performance evaluations, developmental and corrective actions and employment separation.
- Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned/required.
- This position will manage a minimum of 7 employees.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in:
- Working as a leader in warehousing, production, or distribution operations or similar environment.
- Working with operating systems including but not limited to ERP, CM, WCS, WMS.
- Working in an ISO 13485 regulated environment,
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Experience leading and motivating large employee teams of 10 .
- Responsibility for all aspects of employee hiring, training, and separation.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct oversite as well as cross functionally.
- Ability to learn and apply new technology, process, and skills quickly.
- Ability to read and understand operating procedures, policy, work instructions, and other standard business documents.
- Experience contributing to the design and documentation of standard operating procedure, work instructions, and workflow.
- Project management experience.
