The expected base salary range for this role is $163,800– $204,400, which represents the company’s current good-faith estimate of compensation for this position. Actual salary will depend on factors such as, but not limited to, candidate experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific work location. This role may also be eligible for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and wellness resources). Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Strategic Recruitment Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for your assigned business area aligning with function/business goals and workforce planning needs.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners (HRBP), hiring managers and senior leaders to understand specific hiring needs, role requirements, and desired candidate profiles.
- Proactively identify and address recruitment challenges across your assigned business area and geography by leveraging market data and insights.
- Participates, initiates, and owns various talent acquisition related projects which further our commitment to securing top talent.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures, as needed.
- Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines across global markets for current and future hiring needs.
- Leverage advanced sourcing techniques, industry networks, referrals, and innovative engagement strategies to identify and attract top-tier candidates for all assigned roles.
- Drive proactive talent engagement through personalized outreach, employer branding, and candidate relationship management, ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience from initial contact to hire.
- Engage with passive candidates and utilize a compelling narrative to attract them to the organization.
- Strong passion for global recruitment, with a keen interest in understanding diverse talent markets and adapting strategies to attract top talent across multiple regions.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job requisition initiation, posting, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Utilize top-tier, white glove approach to candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, maintaining clear communication and timely feedback.
- Partner with HRBP and hiring managers to facilitate effective interview processes, including the development of personalized interview guides and assessment criteria for function or role.
- Leverage key resources for training Hiring Managers for effective interviewing and selection practices prior to screening and interviewing.
- Serve as the primary recruitment advisor for the assigned business area providing insights, guidance, and updates to HRBP, hiring managers and senior leaders.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition Leader and other departments to ensure alignment of recruitment efforts with broader organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review hiring progress, discuss challenges, and refine strategies as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive and confidential recruitment, candidate, and employee information.
- Stay informed about trends and developments in global labor market, including competitor analysis and salary benchmarking.
- Provide regular reports and analytics on recruitment activities, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and diversity metrics.
- Recommend improvements to recruitment processes and strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to attract top talent.
- Participate in the implementation and/or management of various recruitment solutions including social media, advertising, and candidate campaigns.
- Host New Hire Orientation as needed to welcome new hires into the organization and give them a clear overview of who we are.
- Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned/required.
- This position will not have management responsibilities at this time.
- Predominately an in-office environment
- Travel may be required for recruiting events, networking, and conferences.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Talent Acquisition with extensive experience developing and maintaining relationships internally and externally, and managing full-cycle recruitment process
- Experience recruiting in pharma, healthcare, engineering, aviation, supply chain, logistics, and/or executive management
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting for specialized or hard-to-fill roles.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including the use of social media, job boards, and professional networks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive recruitment initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with recruitment metrics and reporting.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), specifically Workday experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Ability to independently drive searches to conclusion, taking ownership and pride in deliverables.
- Analytical mindset and detail oriented, with a passion for process improvement.
- Willingness to adapt to a changing environment and remain flexible in delivery of solutions.
- A desire to initiate new programs, strategies, and develop ongoing relationships with prospective candidates, hiring managers, and community partners.
- Aptitude to learn new technologies and adapt to labor market trends while still seeing the big picture.
