Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, for a Sales Logistics Specialist (Freight Broker). Key responsibilities include managing freight brokerage operations, developing and fostering relationships with clients and carriers, negotiating rates, and coordinating the movement of shipments. The role also entails addressing customer service needs, managing accounts, and dispatching shipments to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with the operations and sales teams to deliver seamless logistics solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations, with knowledge of freight markets and trends.
- Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Proficiency in Dispatching and coordinating logistics tasks to ensure timely delivery and efficient operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with logistics software and tools is beneficial.
- Previous experience in the freight or 3pl logistics sector is highly advantageous.
