What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional and Substitute Paraprofessional position at Transitions of Western Illinois?
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children? Great! We're looking for a Paraprofessional to work with children who have autism and related communication disorders at our private school. Our Paras get to work with children individually or in small groups to implement their IEPs, perform ADLs, and participate in community-based activities with the students.
Requirements:
- Ability to work as part of a great team
- Must be ISBE Certified Paraprofessional or have 60 hours of college credits in any course of study
- Ability to pass criminal background checks and a drug test

We're also looking for Substitute Paraprofessionals to work on an as-needed/PRN basis.
