Seasonal Activity Aide for Skilled Nursing Facility

Transitions Healthcare North Huntingdon is currently seeking a Seasonal Activities Aide who is fun and energetic and will help to brighten the lives of our residents. The shift will be 8am-4:30pm.

Activities Aide Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with organizing and implementing activity programs as planned to meet the needs, interests, and functional levels of each resident.
• Assist with 1:1 activities with the residents.
• Assist with escorting/transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with resident outings.
• Completes computer documentation indicating the resident's attendance and participation in individual group activities in an accurate and timely manner.
• Distribute monthly activity calendars with scheduled events.
  
  

This is a high-energy, hands-on job and requires superior interpersonal, communication and time management skills. Applicant should possess a genuine desire to improve resident's well-being through patience, empathy and compassion.
