As a nonprofit organization, Transitional Services, Inc. is an eligible employer under the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. PSLF offers qualifying employees the opportunity to have their remaining federal student loan balance forgiven after meeting program requirements.
What you’ll do:
- Provides services to behavioral health clients in Supported Housing Programs to ensure their successful integration into the community.
- Follows the Housing First Practice Model by placing homeless tenants in permanent housing within 30-45 days of assignment. Understands the Housing First model of practice.
- Assists tenants to find employment.
- Facilitates linkages with community resources and serves as a resource to apartment landlords to maintain tenants in residence.
- Uses a person-centered planning approach to services.
- Conducts recovery planning, implementation and documentation according to agency standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field, and a minimum of one year paid, behavioral health experience.
Expected annual salary: Starting at $50,900
Schedule: 35hrs per week (1 hr unpaid lunch)
Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and personal automobile. Must pass all background checks, including a drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.97 - $29.53 per hour
