We expect all staff to put our clients’ needs first while respecting ourselves and each other as we provide hope to those who participate in our programs.TSINY is looking for Program Director for one of our mental health Outpatient programs located in Jamaica (Queens), NY.Program Director - $90,000 annuallyMedical, Dental and Vision and Retirement Benefit PlansApplicants must have Clean Driving Record Position SummaryOversee the day-to-day operations of the program to ensure that consumers’ needs are met and that case management as mandated by SOMH/DOHMH/Agency standards are met and carried out. Essential FunctionsMonitor DOHMH regulatory guidelines to maintainDevelop in-house policies and procedures aimed at improving the overall quality of case management services.Implement standards, policies and procedures as developed by SOMH, DOHMH and the Agency.Supervise all operation of teams, as well as provide individual supervision to all staff.Conduct internal auditing of records to ensure their up-to-date status.Review documentation for quality and content.Complete monthly program certification.Ensure that all AOT responsibilities are carried out by case management staff.Provide 24-hour emergency on-call coverage for consumer emergencies.Serve as unit investigator for incidents involving consumers.Hire and fire staff upon approval from the CEO.Conduct staff meetings on a regular basis.Prepare in-house training as needed.Monitor staff spending of wrap-around expenditures.Oversee the program’s fiscal and budgetary needs.Determine final Clinical decisions regarding the discharge of consumers.Submit regular report to SPOA regarding program census, vacancies and consumer discharges.Complete all SOMH, DOHMN and Agency reports.Oversee the program’s CQI project.Attend monthly case management project advisory meetings.Attend administrative and OPD Directors’ Meetings as scheduled.Be able to sit or stand as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.May require walking, primarily on a level surface, for short periods throughout the day, with or without reasonable accommodation.Be able to reach above shoulder heights, below the waist or lift as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.Driver’s license preferred.During a declared disaster, assume and adhere to assigned Job Action role(s) consistent with Disaster Preparedness Plan.Perform other related duties as assigned.
