Direct Care Staff/Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals with disabilities in a home or community setting. Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide medication administration and monitor patient health as directed.
• Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas:

• Nursing or home community care experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with working with people with disabilities.
• Knowledge of medication administration and patient monitoring techniques.
• Experience in group home settings or memory care facilities is advantageous.
• A background in social work or home care will be considered a plus.
