Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps and prioritize engineering initiatives.
- Establish engineering best practices, standards, and metrics to measure team performance and product quality.
- Drive technical innovation and evaluate new technologies that can enhance our platform and improve user experience.
- Participate in high-level planning and execution of engineering projects while managing resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Align engineering efforts with business objectives, ensuring that technology solutions contribute to Transform9’s growth and strategic direction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in engineering roles, including 5 years in leadership positions within the technology or healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in software architecture, design, and development, with a strong understanding of modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks to drive efficient development processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
