Responsibilities
- Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart.
- Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to warehouses and end-users.
- Drive CDL A day cabs with 53' trailers to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
- Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
- Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers.
Job Requirements:

- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
- Minimum 100,000 miles and/or 1 year CDL A driving experience required.
- Prior local route delivery experience highly preferred, including local, multiple-stop delivery using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack preferred.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 15-20 pounds with no assistance.
