What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Class A Truck Driver position at M&S Delivery, Inc?
We're hiring full-time Class A CDL drivers for Solo Night Runs in and around Middletown, PA.
We are immediately hiring Class A CDL - FedEx Ground Truck Drivers! We are looking for dedicated and professional truck drivers to handle assigned Solo night route shifts.
What You'll Do -
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles
- Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment
- Drop & Hook Only - No-touch freight
- Verify and complete required documentation and reports
- Maintain accurate daily logs
- Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (delays, arrivals, equipment problems)
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required
Pay & Benefits -
- Pay: $29 â $33/hour (Solo Night Run)
- Drivers with 2 years of doubles experience qualify for higher pay range
- Up to $500 quarterly safety bonus (for safety compliance and no Motive events)
- Medical, Dental, and Vision through UnitedHealthcare (UHC)

- Paid Time Off:
- 1 week after 1 year
- 2 weeks after 2 years
- Training: 3 â 4 days (covers route overview, ELD, procedures, dispatch process, and location layouts)
Requirements -
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with doubles/triples endorsement
- 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years OR 5 years within the last 10 years
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards
- Pass background check
- Ability to attain doubles/triples trailer endorsement
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
Schedule - Monday to Friday (1 weekend per month is mandatory; extended 6-week shifts available)

- 350â400 miles per day
- 10.5-hour shift
