Transdev in Rosenberg, Texasis hiring a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operatorsandprovidescustomersupporttotheclients. Weareseekingcustomerservice-orientedprofessionalswho are dedicated to safety.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Overseeroadserviceassignedcarriersbytrackingtripperformancemeasures,routebeginontime, performance, incidents, etc.

• Providecustomersupportbyrespondingtoquestionsandconcernsregardingcustomertripsincludingno shows, cancellations and missed trips.

• Manageemergencysituationsforvehicleoperators,actasliaisonbetweenthecarrierandemergency services.

• Managedailyservicebyreviewingrouteperformanceandproactivelyrespondingtosituationsthatimpact customer service.

• Otherdutiesasrequired.

Qualifications:

• HighSchoolDiplomaorGED;TechnicalDegreepreferred.

• 3-5years'experience ofdispatching.

• Excellentverbal,interpersonalandcustomerserviceskills.

• Problemsolvingandanalyticalskills.

• Mustbeabletoworkshiftsorflexibleworkschedulesasneeded.

• SubjecttoDOTdrugtestingandphysicalifapplicable.DOTRegulation49CFRPart40doesnot authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

PhysicalRequirements:

Theessentialfunctionsofthispositionrequiretheabilityto:

• Workoutsideinvaryingtemperature,weather,andhumidityconditions-100%ofthejobisperformed outside, work alone and in remote locations.

• Sitforextendedperiods(upto6–8hoursperday);frequentlywalkforlongdistancesandonpossible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

• Pushandpullobjectsupto50pounds,occasionallythroughouttheworkday;liftmaterialweighingupto 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level

• Withstandheavytrafficareaswhileperformingthedutiesofthejob;tolerateexposuretoconsiderable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
