Cashier - 2nd Shift (Part-Time)

If you’re the kind of person who likes to learn by doing and see the impact of your work every day, you’ve found the right spot.We're looking for a part-time Cashier to handle all on-site payment transactions for all departments within the dealership. This role will be on the 2nd Shift: 2PM to 6PM (Monday through Friday)Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Cashier accepts cash, credit card, and open account payments for all parts invoices and repair orders.Cashier works with Counter staff and Service Advisors to ensure accurate and complete payment.Issues credit memos for parts and core returns under guidance from the Parts Manager.Cashier matches all parts invoices to ensure payment types; CC/Check or open account match.Responsible for petty cash /change drawer by completing daily reconciliation and hand-off for pre & post shifts.Processes all daily transaction sheets and submits to accounting on a daily basis.Maintains physical security of all cash during the assigned shift.Provides invoice copies as requested by customers.Process credit card deposits for the vehicle sales department as requested.Assists with Accounts Payable functions as needed.Other duties as assigned.Education and/or required experience:High school diplomas or general education degrees.2 years of related or industry experience.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation: $18.00/hourBenefits:401(k)We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.Powered by JazzHRDpg0qCoWcA
