Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Mount Laurel, NJ. The Insurance Agent will meet with individuals, families, and business clients to understand their needs, explain available insurance and financial products, and recommend tailored solutions. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and following up with leads, conducting client consultations, preparing quotes, and completing applications and policy documentation in a timely and accurate manner. The role involves providing ongoing customer service, reviewing coverage periodically, and assisting clients with claims and policy changes. The Insurance Agent will also collaborate with team members, stay current on product offerings and industry regulations, and participate in training and development activities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain coverage options and recommend appropriate policies.
- Experience or familiarity with Insurance Brokerage and Finance, including basic financial planning concepts and compliance awareness.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on active listening, relationship-building, and timely follow-up.
- Relevant state insurance license (or ability to obtain within a defined time frame).
- Ability to work on-site in Mount Laurel, NJ, managing a client-focused schedule that may include some evenings or weekends.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with comfort presenting complex information in clear, accessible terms.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a similar client-facing sales role is preferred but not required.
