What are the responsibilities and job description for the FedEx Delivery driver position at Trans One, Inc.?
We are hiring responsible and motivated drivers to join our FedEx Ground team! As a Delivery Route Driver, you will operate company-provided vehicles to deliver and pick up packages in a safe and efficient manner. You’ll play a key role in providing excellent customer service while keeping deliveries on schedule.
Position Details:
What You’ll Do:
Drive company vehicles to deliver/pick up FedEx packages
Provide timely, friendly, and professional customer service
Load, unload, and inspect packages for compliance with FedEx standards
Navigate a designated delivery route using GPS and route software
Follow all safety and vehicle operation guidelines
Shifts Available:
8 to 10-hour shifts
Day shifts
Monday to Friday
Weekends and weekend flexibility as needed
Preferred Experience:
Delivery driving: 2 years (Preferred)
Comfortable driving in various weather/road conditions
Familiar with delivery apps or GPS routing systems
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
High School Diploma or GED required
1–2 years of delivery experience preferred
Able to lift up to 150 lbs with equipment/assistance as needed
Clean, professional appearance and strong communication skills
