We provide specialized (bulk) and van services to our customers, as well as offer a full-service shop and parts department, and trailer sales.
The Parts Associate (Counter Sales) position is a full-time role and will work on-site in Ephrata, PA, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
Primary Responsibilities:
The Parts Associate (Counter Sales) is responsible for providing superior customer service throughout the parts sales experience, including handling counter sales, ordering and procuring parts and inventory, and supporting our outside sales team. The primary responsibilities include:
- Serve as an inside sales associate, including handling counter sales, as well as phone and email inquiries, and support the outside sales team as needed.
- Respond to and follow up with customer’s needs while providing outstanding customer service
- Ensure accurate and timely parts procurement, including ability to read diagrams and identify correct part numbers, order parts within the customers specifications, and maintain appropriate communication with the customer on order status (availability, cost, etc.)
- Track and manage shipping and receiving of parts, and assist with inventory as needed, including ensuring inventory is accurately accounted for in internal software
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all four locations (Columbia, Ephrata, Lancaster, and Beavertown)
- Maintain tidiness of store, including stocked and organized shelves, and electronic displays
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in parts sales environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to positively interact with individuals across the business (customers, colleagues, vendors, etc.)
- Strong computer skills & ability to utilize computer programs and software effectively
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift Certification
- Previous experience within the heavy duty trucking industry
- Parts product knowledge or experience with inventory management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
