Job Summary
Maintain and repair construction vehicles, heavy equipment, and class A road trucks.
Essential Functions
- Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills are required.
- Knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, engine, transmission, and A.C systems.
- Operate and inspect heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
- Read and understand repair, operators, and troubleshooting manuals and schematics.
- Must fabricate and weld.
- May perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
Training Requirements:
- Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.
Experience:
- Must have 5-10 years of experience.
Other information:
- Must have own tools.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, operate vehicles and small equipment.
- Must be able to work in a construction environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
