We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Associate with strong shipping/receiving and supply management skills to support our maintenance department. This role focuses on accurate inventory tracking, procurement, and logistics while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for keeping a parts inventory on hand and working directly with the maintenance department to support continuous helicopter operations.
Primary Job Duties:
· Monitor stockroom and stocking shelf inventory.
· Maintain a clean and organized environment.
· Procure parts/items to restock inventory before critically low levels.
· Verify consumable materials stock and ensure all items are available for use.
· Maintain an expiring item list and issue items on a FIFO basis.
· Conduct inventory and supply audits for quality assurance.
· Coordinate with the maintenance department to procure items not held in stock for expedited shipping.
· Verify, pull, and prepare shipments for field operation needs.
· Communicate with mechanics in the field to expedite part requests.
· Communicate with vendors to procure exchange items or outright purchase of parts.
· Engage with vendors to have parts repaired promptly to maintain stock levels.
· Issue purchase orders for parts, tools, services, and training.
· Inspect all items, inbound and outbound, for proper documentation.
· Inspect OEM or FAA Form 8130-3 / certificate of conformance documentation for originality and serial number.
· Package materials for transportation, including HAZMAT materials.
· Tracking of orders placed with vendors.
· Maintain critical parts listing and lead times for upcoming components.
· Anticipate problems and work with the team to proactively mitigate those issues.
· Coordinate with the quality department to maintain a calibrated tool inventory.
· Contribute to the safety culture and company SMS program.
· Reports to Maintenance Management Team.
· All other duties as assigned by management.
Physical and other Requirements:
· Must be able to lift 60 pounds routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation
· Flexible – Schedule is a 4/3 rotation with 1 weekend duty day
· Must be able to work holidays, nights, and weekends
· Requires sitting for extended periods of time. Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, and reaching above shoulder level. Requires occasional crawling, crouching, kneeling, or balancing.
· Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 10 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to a normal range.
· In addition, this position requires the use of a computer, intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
· Must be able to see and hear, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
Operate a forklift in a safe manner to load and unload shipments.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
