Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Hand Solder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for precisely assembling electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using manual soldering techniques. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality, reliable electronic products by performing meticulous hand soldering, inspecting assemblies, and adhering to industry standards. Duties
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition by performing daily organization and cleanup of work area
- Participate in continuous process improvement
- Recommend changes to and participate in the review of manufacturing procedures
- Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to your team-lead or supervisor
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Assistant in other areas as business necessitates
- Fine pitch soldering
- Perform rework on products per documented instructions and/or ECO or deviation documents.
- Inspection and rework as necessary
- Assemble PC boards on the hand pass line as a team member and/or assemble product alone using process documents and drawings
- Perform Secondary operations per customer drawings and/or process documentation

- Responsible for work performed by you and your team at or above the standard average of assembly speed and quality of product
Requirements
- 2 - 7 years experience soldering SMT and through hole components on rigid and flexible PCBs
- IPC-610 Class 2 knowledge, certified helpful
- Quality inspection and rework experience
- Hand solder experience under microscope
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Willing to cross train in other areas
- Ability to read and understand basic work instructions and identify packing specifications
- Good work history, team player, reliable attendance, quality conscious, detail oriented and responsible
- Full Time with growing company located in Stillwater, MN
