Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm but hours could vary.
Essential Assembler Job Functions
High School diploma /GED or equivalent experience, and minimum of 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred. Must have basic reading, math skills and ability to follow instructions. Experience with ERP, bar coding systems and wireless device strongly preferred. The ability to use scanner devices and computer literacy with MRP programs and reports required. Must be detail oriented and be able to work with numbers including reading numbers, recording them correctly and be able to count large quantities accurately. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is required. Must be attentive to detail, organized, results oriented, and have a high level of accuracy. Previous powered industrial truck experience preferred. May be required to obtain a license within 1-month of employment.

Essential Assembler Job Functions
- Perform a variety of highly repetitive hand operations to assemble components or units here procedures are clearly established, and tolerances are maintained.
- Perform mechanized assembly operations requiring the use of hand or power equipment.
- Perform final assembly and in-process quality inspection of the end product.
- Demonstrate ability to operate any and all machines in the department at specified rates.
- Responsible for working in accordance with our documented Quality System and for ensuring that products and services meet the customer's specified requirements.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area using the 5S process and follows all safety policies and procedures.
- Assists with processing daily orders and intercompany transfer orders.
- Monitors the shipping department's daily progress, and report issues to the production Manager daily.
- Operates forklift to load and unload trucks, moving pallets on and off racking, and wrapping freight.
- Processes orders using ERP/MRP system.
- Runs the open orders report every afternoon to ensure all available parts are pulled for the day.
- Assists with performing material handler shipping functions; including order pulling, verification of orders, UPS station processing, weighing and wrapping pallets, stock transfer of finished goods, loading trucks, and RF scanner transactions as needed.
- Verifies daily, all orders have been processed, printed and shipped, all ASN's have been sent and all shipments have packing lists attached.
- Ensures all daily UPS ground, and other carriers' packages are labeled and ready to ship.
