Training Wheels ABA is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Contracting & Credentialing Manager to oversee all provider contracting, credentialing, re-credentialing, and payer enrollment activities across ABA Therapy and Speech Therapy services. This role is responsible for ensuring clinicians are properly credentialed and enrolled with insurance payers, state agencies, and regulatory bodies to support timely scheduling and uninterrupted billing.
The Contracting & Credentialing Manager owns credentialing timelines, maintains accurate provider and payer records, and proactively manages renewals and expirations. This position plays a critical role in revenue integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency and serves as the subject matter expert for credentialing and contracting processes.
Key responsibilities include managing payer contracts and enrollments, maintaining CAQH profiles, tracking licenses and certifications, coordinating new hire enrollments, supporting clinic expansions, identifying process gaps that impact billing or provider start dates, and providing regular reporting on credentialing status and upcoming expirations.
This role works closely with HR, Recruiting, Clinical Leadership, Scheduling, Billing, and Authorizations teams to align credentialing timelines with onboarding and service delivery. The Contracting & Credentialing Manager is expected to work independently, manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and communicate clearly with internal teams and external payers.
This is a full-time, fully remote position.
Compensation:

Base salary range: $50,000 to $55,000 annually

Performance-based bonus opportunity of up to $10,000 per year, paid quarterly
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience in provider credentialing and enrollment

Experience credentialing providers in ABA, behavioral health, or outpatient therapy settings

Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance and Medicaid credentialing processes

Experience managing CAQH profiles and payer portals

Proven ability to manage multiple applications, deadlines, and follow-ups simultaneously

High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills

Proficiency with spreadsheets, tracking tools, and credentialing systems

Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
