Under the direction and guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager, the Food & Beverage Supervisor encourages guest and staff loyalty by providing an engaging, dynamic, and fun experience for all guests and staff. This role is responsible for restaurant operations during the shift in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager. They are welcome to market ideas to promote business, reduce employee turnover, and increase guest satisfaction while keeping quality consistently high.

ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
- Be the Ambassador of the Property, Guest Advocate, Gracious Host and Staff Cheerleader within the Property and the local community.
- Spend 95% of day/night in guest service areas interacting with guests and the staff.
- Monitor servers, runners, and other restaurant staff and ensure adherence to all service standards and SOPs, including inspecting staff for correct, clean, complete uniforms and general appearance standards.
- Supervise service for guestsand bewatchful ofsignals from guests in need of service.
- Assistmanager toestablishand monitor side-work duty completion.Supervise daily guest service functions to sustain courteous and professional guest service levels.
- Read daily communication sheets fromthe previousshift and prepare one for the following shift.Check for all personnel call offs and check floor plan for coverage.
- Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up.This includesservice stands,aisle areas, andtables forcleanlinessand proper set up.
- Communicate daily with restaurant manager with regard to special events, house counts, etc.
- Consistentlymonitorthe qualityof service and product delivered in the guest service areas.
- Hold staff accountable for giving an Engaging Dynamic Guest Experience based on Hotel and Restaurant Standards.
- Assess employee performance and provide feedback periodically based on hotel standards.
- Resolve guest complaints in a satisfactory manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
- 2 years of food and beverage management experience with a strong emphasis onguest experience.
- Ability toworkweekends, mornings, weekdays, and holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toastpreferred).
- ServSafeManagerand TIPS (or equivalent)certified or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Must be 21 and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and operationally disciplined.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiencywith computer skills.
- Positive and productive working relationships with entire staff of the property.
Preferred:
- College Degree or equivalent in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- One to two years in a public contact position in an upscale restaurant or lifestyle brand hotel
- Proventrack recordof implementing systems, processes, or training programs
PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
- Ability to movefrequentlybetween restaurant outlets, kitchens, bars, storage areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to25–50lbsoccasionally (cases of beverages, supplies, small equipment).
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb as necessary to inspect operations and access storage areas.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment with frequent movement.
- Abilityto tolerateexposure to heat, cold, humidity, kitchen environments, and outdoor weather conditions as applicable.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests in person and over communication devices.

Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality– on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
