Responsibilities

• Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
• Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware promptly and courteously.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping, plating, or organizing ingredients under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and resetting tables for incoming guests.
• Help with catering events or banquet setups by transporting supplies and ensuring service areas are tidy.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support cooking activities when required, gaining exposure to culinary processes.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating hospitality-minded behavior and proactive communication.

Skills

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Strong ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Basic understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices.
• Experience with bussing or supporting catering and banquet events is a plus.
• Ability to work quickly in fast-paced settings while staying organized and attentive to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues alike.
• Willingness to assist with food preparation or cooking tasks as needed—showing initiative is highly valued
