Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is the not-for-profit organization that manages the spectacular Dickies Arena, a 14,000-seat multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. Owned by the City of Fort Worth, the state-of-the-art arena opened in November 2019 and hosts a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, family entertainment, and Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.

Job Summary:

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a part-time Concessions Stand Attendant/Cashier. This position is responsible for providing an excellent guest experience by taking food and beverage orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
• Accurately operate the POS system while serving high volumes of guests at concession stands.
• Follow all cash-handling and tip-reporting guidelines.
• Expedite guest food orders efficiently at concession stands or portable locations.
• Stock products and set up condiment stations, cashier stations, and display baskets.
• Thoroughly complete all station setup and breakdown responsibilities.
• Practice proper product control and handle all inventory and equipment responsibly.
• Partner with team members to ensure consistent food and beverage quality.
• Assist in preparing food items as needed.
• Check concessions equipment to ensure proper operation and report issues promptly.
• Understand and execute responsible alcohol service.
• Always maintain proper sanitation and food-safety standards, following all health codes and company guidelines.
• Navigate the arena and any other TDMC-managed locations confidently and assist guests with directions or questions.
• Help maintain high standards of customer service throughout service periods.
• Set up, maintain, break down, and clean concessions equipment to ensure proper use.
• Support other Food & Beverage departments as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus
• Works well with others; establishes and maintains effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
• Basic math and cash handling experience
• Work together with co-workers to ensure that guests are always receiving excellent customer service & genuine hospitality
• Understand and execute responsible alcohol service
• Show knowledge of venue FAQs, including events, parking, and ticketing information
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including – nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions:

• Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures. This includes working outdoors.
• Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
• Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
• Employees may be exposed to sharp objects, machines with moving parts, heat from ovens, burners, steam, trays, etc.
• Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
