INVOICING INTERN

Working out of our Global Headquarters in the Chicago. Your work will support our LTL team and ensure all invoices have been adequately handled.
INVOICING INTERN
What the Job Entails:
- Scan documents and do data-entry
- Invoice our customers using our system/theirs
- Distribute customer invoices accordingly (email, consolidated reports, portal upload, etc.)
- Validate our supplier payments and information
- Audit documentation (Bills of lading, proof of deliveries, receipts, scale tickets, unloading receipts, customs paperwork, etc.)
- Calling carriers for missing documentation
- Working on aging reports
- Proficient in use of Outlook, Excel, Word
- Proficient in reading and understanding LTL carrier invoices and statements and relevance of carrier pro numbers – at least 1 year experience
- Proficient in understanding and interpreting basic carrier shipping documents – bills of lading, delivery receipts, etc. – 1 year experience
- Strong organizational skills including ability to organize tasks, track and document progress and results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Monday to Friday located at 111 E Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601.
- The typical schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though hours may vary depending on business needs. This role may also transition into a part-time position during the school year for the right candidate
