Flatbed / Open Deck Carrier Sales Representative

Traffic Tech is growing our Chattanooga branch and looking to add an experienced Flatbed / Open Deck Carrier Sales Representative to support our expanding open-deck and specialized freight operations.

This is a high-impact, non-entry-level position. We are seeking someone who can step in immediately, leverage existing relationships, and help drive capacity across flatbed and heavy haul freight.

• Source and secure capacity for flatbed, step deck, conestoga, RGN, and specialized equipment
• Build and maintain a strong network of reliable open-deck carriers
• Support spot quotes and project freight with a focus on execution and speed
• Work closely with sales to cover freight and meet customer expectations
• Navigate market conditions to secure competitive and reliable coverage
• Assist with heavy haul and over-dimensional shipments when needed

• Proven experience in flatbed / open deck carrier sales or brokerage
• Existing book of business and carrier relationships
• Strong knowledge of:
• -Open deck equipment types
• -Market rates and lane trends
• -Securement, tarping, and specialized freight requirements
• Ability to source RGNs, double drops, and heavy haul carriers
• Self-starter with the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
