Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner/Server, where you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests! Duties

• Safely handle and transport food from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling techniques.
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Clear and bus tables promptly, ensuring cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• Support kitchen staff by bussing dishes, cleaning workstations, and managing waste disposal.
• Use POS systems such as toast POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately.
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or equipment safely according to safe lifting practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy periods.
• Maintain a clean environment through regular cleaning duties, including sanitizing surfaces and restocking supplies.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
• Experience in serving, bussing, or banquet settings preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary processes is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous hotel or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
