The Role At a Glance
We are looking to add an experienced forklift operator to our Traditions team in Pearl, MS. As a forklift operator, you will have the opportunity to aid in the operational success of foodservice businesses around the country.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating a sit-down forklift and turret truck.
- Retrieving and storing products in freezer and warehouse locations using a forklift or turret truck.
- Performing data entry transactions in an ERP system.
- Assisting with loading and unloading trucks.
- Assisting with picking dry items in a warehouse.
- Rotating product in the freezer.
- Consolidating product in freezers and coolers.
- Assisting with cycle counting and physical inventory.
What we're looking for:
- Forklift certification/license.
- A high school diploma or GED, 6-12 months of related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks using time management skills.
- Prior experience in foodservice, hospitality, or a related field.
The pay rate is $15.25/hr.
