Position Overview:
TradeWind is seeking up to five experienced Instructional Analysts/Developers to support the Training Department at a high-performing client facility. These professionals will play a key role in analyzing job functions and developing high-quality training programs that support both Operations and Engineering organizations.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong experience in systematic training development, task analysis, and technical content creation within regulated or complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selected candidates will support one or more training initiatives aligned with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development).
- Conduct detailed task analysis across a large dataset of job functions (3,650 line items) to determine training needs.
- Perform DIF (Difficulty, Importance, Frequency) surveys to evaluate training necessity.
- Identify required knowledge and skills for task performance.
- Design clear, measurable learning objectives.
- Develop and/or revise training materials for:
- Classroom instruction
- Computer-based training (CBT)
- On-the-Job Training (OJT)
- Create evaluation methods, including written exams and performance-based assessments (OJE), to validate knowledge retention and skill proficiency.
- Collaborate with Training Management to support both Operations and Engineering training programs.
- Maintain accurate tracking of assignments and progress via monthly reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in education or technical discipline is preferred; however, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in training, education, or specialized industries, will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an instructional analyst/developer within the nuclear industry.
- Demonstrated experience with application of the ADDIE model, or similar instructional system design, specifically for developing courses for operations, maintenance, and technical support staff positions and personnel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in nuclear operations or high hazard industrial setting preferably in operations.
- Hanford experience.
Salary and Benefits Information:
Expected Salary Range: $75-$125/hour (depending on experience)
