Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions
- Take and record vital signs as directed
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Respond promptly to resident needs and requests
- Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care
- Accurately document care provided
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous long-term care or healthcare experience preferred but not required
