Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Property Manager located in Angier and Spring Lake, NC. The Assistant Property Manager (APM) supports the day-to-day operations of their assigned portfolio, this role supports the Property Manager and Regional Manager. The APM is a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and serves as a key point of contact for residents, and vendors.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations of assigned properties to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient management.
- Assist with marketing vacant units, coordinating listings, and ensuring property information is accurate across platforms.
- Support occupancy goals and leasing performance metrics.
- Assist with residents' work orders, including outside vendors and in house maintenance technicians.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for residents regarding lease questions, policies, payments, and general inquiries.
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including scheduling inspections and ensuring required documentation is completed.
- Assist PM with Property Inspections
- Assist PM with Monthly A/R and A/P.
- Provide coverage for Property Manager duties when needed and appropriate.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in property management, real estate, or related administrative roles
preferred.
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, or similar) strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of leasing, renewals, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
